The State of Florida recently took a significant step forward in ensuring equal access to quality education for all students. Starting from July 1, 2023, the state will be offering Step Up Scholarships to all students residing in Florida, irrespective of their household income. This transformative program aims to empower families and provide educational opportunities to children across the state.

Previously, Step Up scholarships were primarily available to families with lower incomes, but this new initiative breaks those barriers, making education more accessible to a wider range of households. A family of three can now earn up to $99,440 and still qualify for a Step Up Scholarship, opening up doors for countless families to now attend a private school.

Florida Prep accepts all Florida Government Scholarships and also allows recipients to stack Step Up onto the school's own academic scholarships.

By opening the program to all families, regardless of income level, the State of Florida is breaking down barriers to education and offering students a pathway to a high-quality education that prepares them for a successful future and Florida Prep is proud to be a part of this initiative.
