Field trips have a purpose at Florida Prep and where better to travel than to the many attractions on our doorstep!
The Orlando Eye, teaches us the concepts of gravity, acceleration and force, Madam Tussauds Wax Museum determines the importance of key historical figures and the Sea Life Aquarium, allows for hands-on investigation of the defining traits of marine creatures; imagine doing them all in one day as part of a Field Trip! Class instruction would certainly be a dream.
At Florida Prep dreams are not required; we regularly use the facilities available in Orlando as teaching tools in our programs.
A recent trip by our middle school students (grades 5-8) encompassed all of the above, bringing science, history and marine creatures to life in one fun-filled day. It would be difficult to 'forget' that instruction.
