Mission Statement

Our mission as Admissions Ambassadors is to strive to be supportive representatives of Florida Prep to current students, the admissions department and prospective new families. In doing so we strive that every student has a bright future, treat others with kindness and respect and leave Florida Prep better than when we arrived.

who we are

An admissions ambassador is a student chosen to represent their school to prospective students and their families throughout the admissions process. We are one of the few clubs on campus where you must be invited to join and complete an entire semester's worth of training to represent our Academy both on and off of campus. It is imperative that we make sure to not only uphold but encourage all students of the following characteristics:

"Florida Prep is a whole other home I didn't know I had. Becoming a boarding student was the hardest decision with the best outcome. I've created relationships that will stick with me through a lifetime and made memories that will last even longer. The welcoming community caters to your needs while also letting you deal with reality on your own. You cannot get enough of the campus and I take being a Florida Prep student with pride."

How to be Chosen

Our Ambassadors are chosen based on their academic performance, referrals by faculty and staff, school spirit and pride, behavioral records, and knowledge of our academy. All candidates must take part in our training program, must shadow a current ambassador for the entire second semester, and must write an essay as to why they should be chosen. Once a student completes the training they are presented with a red polo, worn only by ambassadors, and a golden ambassador pin.
