Experiential Learning Week
March 11-15, 2024
Imagine Whitewater rafting through Smoky Mountain Canyons, visiting the iconic Statue of Liberty, snorkeling the pristine reefs of Hanauma Bay in Hawaii, or meeting a Giant Panda.
These are just a few of the experiences on offer to Florida Prep students during 2024 Experiential Learning Week!
This year we will also be offering our first Winter Experiential Week - to China!
Led by dedicated Florida Prep faculty and staff, and ranging from service and work experiences to cultural and language expeditions, choose your adventure.
All trips are educational, exciting and fun while implementing all subjects, including History and Science. All Florida Prep students are required to attend one trip as there are NO academic classes during the week.
All trips include transportation to and from the destination, lodging, food, and entry into all locations.
Most experiences have a maximum of 10 spots, assigned on a first come, first serve basis. An experience must have a minimum number of students sign up to move forward. All students must sign-up for an experience as Experiential Learning Week is an instructional week of school. Students are required to complete a project /assignment to complete their experience and to receive a grade.
We reserve the right to provide alternate experiences if venues are closed, problematic, or Florida Prep students are unable to travel due to State or Health restrictions. Refunds will be made if applicable from vendors.

Experiential Learning is an engaged learning process whereby students “learn by doing” and by reflecting on the experience. Experiential learners will challenge themselves, lead others, make mistakes and sometimes fail. Find out why the program is a popular addition to the Florida Prep curriculum...
