School Counseling

The School Counseling Department celebrates and honors the whole child. Students at Florida Prep are provided with numerous academic, social, and emotional opportunities designed to: develop their self-esteem, build character and integrity, encourage collaboration and creativity, and strengthen leadership and communication skills. These are all attributes which are vital in the globally competitive 21st century. Under the supervision of the counseling team, students are engaged throughout the school year in a number of programs such as comprehensive individual conferences, course advisement and scheduling, participation in the Duke TIP Program, CHILL and T.G.I. F. to name a few.

The FPA School Counseling Department is always available to assist our students, faculty, and parents in order to make the school year as positive, productive, and enjoyable as possible. We welcome the opportunity to work with your student and to help him or her reach their full potential as a member of the Florida Prep family!
